Regional Sales Representative
Our team is looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Representative to join our client’s operation in Chihuahua, Chih.., with influence over the following states: Chihuahua, Sonora, Sinaloa, Durango (partially), Baja California and Baja California South.
The firm is a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of a variety of specialized machine tools for the metal-transforming industries. It has expanded greatly in Mexico over the last two decades and is now growing it´s internal structure.

Responsibilities and Challenges
- Identifying and qualifying new business possibilities via studying and prospecting possible clients, cold-calling, networking, attending industry events, and making face-to-face client visits.
- Conducting in-depth needs analysis and assessments to better understand client requirements, as well as giving technical knowledge and advise on goods and services that fit their unique demands.
- Presenting and exhibiting products and services to clients, emphasizing essential features and benefits, and explaining how they can resolve customer issues and enhance business operations.
- Working with the sales team, product managers, create and deliver bespoke proposals, presentations, and solution demos that are in line with client objectives and specifications as well as technical assistance.
- Negotiating prices, contracts, and conditions of sale to close agreements and acquire new business opportunities while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective clients and distributors, offering continuing support, troubleshooting assistance, and responding to any feedback or problems that may occur.
- Maintaining awareness of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in order to anticipate consumer demands and proactively find chances for product modifications or new offers.
- Achieving or exceeding sales objectives and performance metrics requires efficient pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and regular reporting on sales activity, opportunities, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (mechanical, mechatronics, or a related discipline).
- Significant experience in technical sales, notably in the metal transformation business.
- Availability to travel during the week and occasionally on weekends.
- Solid references from past employers.
- Knowledge of the metal-mechanical industry in the region
- Experience with abrasives is advantageous.
- Understanding of industrial processes with a focus on mechanical problems is needed.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Conversational English skills.
- Experience dealing with distributors and direct sales.
